The Next Chapter . . .

Well, anyone can see that this has been a neglected blog to say the least. The last post was almost a year ago. There are many reasons/excuses for this. The biggest is probably the fact that I took no psychology classes my entire senior year of college. Not being exposed to psychological content two to three times a week for sixteen weeks, can cause your meditations and musings to go wandering for a while.

This was good though. Many of my perspectives on science/reason/counseling/theology/the Bible/and practical applications and implications thereof (and the various interactions between these) have matured in the past year. I feel there is a sense of humility, mystery, and acknowledgment of my finitude that was absent a year ago. Shortly after my last post on this site, God stirred in me a passion for ministry that was not there before. This being the case, I decided to go to seminary.

So, three weeks form this writing I will be in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania preparing for my first class at Westminster Theological Seminary. I will be doing their Masters of Divinity in Counseling program, which (from what it looks like) is the best in the country.

I say all this to let everyone know that I will be once once more inundated with the ideas of Theology and Psychology in an intensity I have not known before. So, you can expect most of that to be worked out on this site.

All that just to let you know that more content is coming soon, and it should be a flood. Also remember: “very soon” for me when it comes to blogs can mean months.

Grace and peace to you all,

–paul
